Nathrah Help
Updated October 8, 2026
Start with an idea
Open a new page to type, or tap the microphone. Wait for “Listening”, then speak. You can pause to think without losing earlier words. When you finish, review the text and save or organize it. Closing an empty page does not save a note.
Organize with a tap
Use the local AI button to organize a note. Recognized products can become a shopping list with groups, emoji and quantities. Your original text stays available for review. Manual notes and some simple lists work before downloading local AI; downloading enables broader processing according to your device’s capabilities.
If your words do not appear
Check microphone and speech permissions in iOS Settings and choose the language you are speaking. Your device must support on-device recognition for that language. If recording stops or is interrupted, resume while the app is open. Previously captured text stays available. Save important words as a note; unsaved drafts may be cleared after 90 days without an update.
Downloading in the background
You can close the download window, switch apps or lock the screen. iOS manages the transfer and may wait for connectivity. The pause button retains download progress for resuming. Avoid force-quitting from the app switcher because iOS stops transfers; open the app again to attempt resuming.
Which sharing option should I use?
A link opens in a browser and saves shared purchased marks. The first opening needs internet access; after preparation it can reopen offline in the same browser. An offline copy sends a file that needs Nathrah for interaction and keeps marks local to the recipient. Text sharing works with any app, but its checkboxes are not interactive buttons.
Language and permissions
Choose Arabic or English in Nathrah Settings. Select the language you speak for dictation; changing the interface does not translate saved notes. If microphone or speech permission is declined, change it in Apple device Settings; typing remains available. Tracking permission is optional and declining it does not prevent note taking.
